Check out some cool rides and help save a child’s life at Chili’s in Gastonia on Saturday. Chili’s is hosting its annual car and bike show Saturday with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A yard sale at 7 a.m. also aims to raise donations.
The restaurant chain has raised more than $40 million as part of a 10-year, $50 million pledge to St. Jude, according to a press release. Chili’s will be asking diners to donate this month. The goal is to raise $15,000 in 30 days. All of the proceeds go directly to St. Jude.

Where: Chili’s of Gastonia, 3086 E Franklin Blvd., Gastonia
When: Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday with awards at 2:30 p.m.
Cost: Free for spectators, $15 registration fee
Why go: Chance to buy raffle tickets for prizes, kids’ activities and a chance to donate to a good cause
