A third student has been charged in one of the bomb threats that have been in Gaston County Schools in the last two weeks.
Lowell Police Department has filed charges against a student at Holbrook Middle School for a bomb threat discovered on Tuesday, May 7. Holbrook’s second bomb threat that was found on Thursday, May 2, is still under investigation, according to police. Currently, the police have no information that the two threats are connected.
The Holbrook threats were just two of six bomb threats made within the Gaston County School system in the last two weeks. Two bomb threats were reported at Lowell Elementary and one each at Sherwood Elementary and Cramerton Middle. One student was charged for both at Lowell and another student was charged for the one at Cramerton.
