Church ministry reports $500 worth of donations stolen

A church-based charity reported $500 worth of donations were stolen Saturday.

St. Michael’s Catholic Church Outreach Ministry, which runs a thrift shop at 1111 S. York St. in Gastonia, reported to Gastonia Police someone took around $500 worth of household goods left outside the store as donations between 3:15 and 3:35 p.m. Saturday, according to a Gastonia Police report.

No suspect was listed on the police report.
