A Gastonia woman is facing child abuse charges after police allege she let four children in a home she was using to make meth.
Amy Gosnell Brown, 30, of 1210 Allston Court, Gastonia was charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of child abuse. She was also previously charged with trafficking methamphetamine and manufacturing a Schedulle II controlled substance.
According to arrest records, Brown’s four children in the home were 1, 3, 9 and 11 years old.
The children were exposed to toxic chemicals used to make meth.
Brown was jailed on a $50,000 secured bond for the drug charges and a $10,000 bond for the child abuse charges.
