Two big lottery winners in Gaston

Two Gaston County men hit it big last week in the North Carolina lottery, according to state lottery officials.

Ronald Gray Payne of Belmont won $10,000 in the “Multiplier Spectacular” instant scratch-off game. He bought his winning ticket at the Handy Pantry in Belmont.

Arthur Ray Warren of Gastonia won $10,000 in the “$1,000 a Week for Life” instant scratch-off game. He bought his winning ticket at the Lil’ Market in Gastonia.

Both men took home about $6,800 after paying state and federal taxes.
