Police are looking for the man responsible for robbing a Cookout in eastern Lincoln County. The armed robbery happened shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday at the Cookout at 7519 Highway 73, Denver.
According to the Lincoln County Sherriff’s Office, a man clad in all black, carrying a handgun, shot through the glass in the door, opened it and entered the restaurant. The store manager was inside at the time. The suspect forced the manager to open the safe and give him whatever was inside.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build. He might have driven away in a red 2012 to 2014 four door Toyota Camry Model LE or XLE. Police do not know which way they drove off.
