CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Police have arrested a Charlotte man and accused him of stealing things from a home where the owner was found dead of natural causes.
Twenty-year-old Pressley Davis Jr. has been charged with burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a gun by a felon and six counts of larceny of a gun.
Davis was being held in the Mecklenburg County jail. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
Police say Davis targeted a home because the garbage can had not been brought in and the mailbox was full.
The homeowner's name has not been released.
