Gaston woman jailed after caught holding the bag

A 26-year-old Bessemer City woman reportedly carried a plastic bag of her niece’s urine with her when she went to visit her probation officer Tuesday.

When caught holding the bag, Kirsten Cheek told her probation officer she intended to use her niece’s urine in an attempt to defraud a drug screen, according to arrest warrants

That’s against the law.

Cheek was jailed Tuesday under a $15,000 bond on a charge of defrauding drug/alcohol screen test.
