A pickup truck ended up on top of a passenger car in a three-vehicle wreck that occurred at 3:13 p.m. Sunday in Beaty Road near Pine Trail in southeast Gastonia.
Only one person involved was taken by Gaston Emergency Medical Services to Gaston Memorial Hospital, and that person did not have serious injuries.
Rescue personnel with New Hope Fire Department arrived an d found the pickup sitting on top of the passenger car.
All of the people involved in the wreck were out of their vehicles when rescue personnel arrived.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
